The Wildlife

Leighton Moss is an RSPB nature reserve based in Lancashire just on the border of Cumbria, Leighton Moss is the largest reed bed area in the northwest of England and provides habitats for many species of Wildlife such as red deer, otters, bearded tits, Marsh Harriers, Bitten, and the variety of wetland birds and ducks.

Join me on a fun-packed wildlife day, walking around this fantastic nature reserve, I will share with you the knowledge I have gained from the many visits I have made to this reserve, including how to get the most from your camera.

Even though I am a Canon photographer, you can still join me at Leighton Moss if you are confident enough to navigate through your camera settings, whether it be Nikon, Sony, or Fuji I will be able to guide you in the right direction to make the right choices to photograph the wildlife.

Please note!

Whilst I call all these workshops "workshops", not all of them will be about how to use the camera, etc some of the time is about having the opportunity to come out with me to photograph the wildlife and pick up some tips and useful information whilst out in the field and enjoying the day.

I will arrange, travel for boat trips, meals when required, access to arrears, and cover the costs for entry and transport from our rendezvous point within the fee you have paid.

Prime Photography Spots:

Causeway Hide – A great vantage point for spotting otters and waterfowl.
Lower Hide – Ideal for capturing marsh harriers in flight.
Reedbed Walks – Perfect for intimate portraits of bearded tits and warblers.
Saltmarsh Hides – Offers views of waders and water birds against the dramatic backdrop of Morecambe Bay.
